VITA NOVA – A Second Life for a Charming Apartment
The VITA NOVA project—“New Life” in Latin—perfectly embodies the spirit of this renovation: unveiling the potential of an interior by restoring light, naturalness, and understated elegance.
The previously whitewashed oak flooring was fully sanded to bring out its original tone. At the client’s request, we applied a matte finish, far from the glossy look often associated with traditional varnishing. The result? Warm, natural oak that immediately adds character to the room while remaining discreet and elegant.
We also filled all holes caused by old picture frames, televisions, and wall irregularities from the previous plaster. A thorough preparation process ensured smooth and uniform surfaces throughout the apartment.
Finally, all walls and ceilings were refreshed with a new RAL 9003 white shade, brighter and more contemporary, providing a neutral and calming backdrop.
